It’s my pleasure to extend greetings on behalf of Shree Shankara Senior Secondary School. We are a core of dedicated educational professionals with virtuous training and experience that prepares students to become skillful administrators, leaders, teachers, engineers, doctors, entrepreneurs, etc. & overall global citizens.We stimulate a positive spirit and maintain relationship between students, parents, teachers and support staff & endeavor to create a habitat that sustains excellence. Fame of the school is achieved with the support, praise and motivation of the people associated & blessings of the Almighty.

Shree Shankara was established in the year 1996 by Raipur Nair Samajam (RNS), working to fulfill the educational needs of Birgaon Nagar Nigam with a vision of preparing students of high academic attainment and values. Session 2022-23 was the 27th year of RNS’s dedication and hardwork towards serving the society in the field of Education and moving from a C.G. Board school to CBSE. Sri. Mannathu Padmanabhan the peerless leader of the Nair Community, the immortal founder of the Nair Service Society and the great social reformer is our inspiration. He taught us the philosophy of action, the value of unity and above all the need to change.The school is named after Lord Shiva/Shankara. Shankara means doer of good deeds or who is the same or stable in all deeds. He dispels or destroys doubts/difficulties by establishing faith.

The school believes in education that is practical and experience rich, which calls forth the whole mind and body of each child and develops human, mental, spiritual and psychological capacities. These are the tools we believe that will allow us to cope with the transition we are in. Every child has a unique learning style which is given emphasis while planning our teaching. Skill based learning and assessment is the norm for working. Application and experiment oriented learning guide academics in the early years along with development of requisite skills.

Intelligence plus character is the goal of true education. We believe that education is life and every child entrusted to our care will receive education of the highest quality. The aim of the school is not only to prepare the student for examination but also to help them develop an all-round personality. There is balances emphasis on cultural heritage and modern technology including computer education. We visualize students’ as well rounded confident and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve their full potential.

Review of our curriculum and practices are done consistently so that we can ensure the best & updated learning which can address the future needs of our students. Preparations and training of staff to follow National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for Foundational Stage 2022 as a part of NEP2020 is in constant process. The school has an efficient team of Educators, Administers and Support Staff. We have qualified and experienced faculty from Nursery till 12th standard CBSE. Ours is a co-educational school where teaching-learning process takes place with the usage of modern methods. Individual attention is given to the slow learners.

Parents & family is the first Guru of a child. They are the one who give base of education to an individual in their early stages (0 to 3 years). Education is a shared commitment between teachers, students & parents. The parent-teacher trust, cooperation and understanding are secret of a child’s maximum development. A balance of education at home and school shapes a child’s real learning. Good parent-teacher relationships are important for student’s positive attitude towards school to give his best in all areas of Teaching-Learning Processes. We keep parents as the predominant part of our planning for overall development of a child.
